SouthPark, once part of a 3,000-acre farm owned by N.C. Gov. Cameron Morrison, has been transformed into one of North Carolina’s most esteemed and successful live/work communities. The original Morrison farm reached all the way from Cotswold to Quail Hollow.
The Historic Morrocroft Mansion, built between 1924 and 1927, remains on her original site in SouthPark. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the overwhelming 14,000-square-foot Tudor Revival home stayed in the Morrison/Harris family until 1981. The home remains a private and beautifully restored residence today.
